Patrick Henry College is seeking a Computer Support Technician to provide technology support for faculty, staff, and students to resolve computer hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. The Computer Support Technician will install and deploy new computers; manage user accounts and access; and provide training and guidance to student technicians. Must have a strong desire to learn technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide second-level tech support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Manage the deployment, maintenance, support, security, and upgrade of desktop PCs, laptop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems, and distributed printers
Manage end-user accounts and permissions
Provide technical training and guidance to student technicians
Evaluate new technology products or services
Proactively communicate with faculty, staff, and students, and ensure they are receiving excellent customer service
