Adjunct Professor of Policy Debate
Patrick Henry College seeks an adjunct Professor of Policy Debate for the spring semester of 2025 to teach a course on Forensics and coach PHC’s Policy Debate team. The class meets once a week and coaching includes several In-House & Travel Tournaments that require occasional weekend and travel commitments. The semester begins January 15 and ends May 6 of 2025. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and possess a strong biblical worldview. The ideal candidate will have an earned advanced degree in Law, Government, or Communications with previous experience in debate competitions. PHC is recognized as one of the top forensics programs in the nation.
Candidates should be evangelical Christians, in full agreement with the College’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Foundations Statement, and supportive of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Educational Philosophy.
PHC is a private, nondenominational, accredited institution located near Washington, D.C., in Purcellville, Virginia.
